The Rijksmuseum is perhaps one of the most important but certainly the largest museum in the Netherlands. This absolutely incredible building looks like a enormous castle, that warrants a visit alone regardless of what's inside it. This beautiful building is dedicated to art and history and there are currently more than 1 million different objects in it. The most famous paintings from the Dutch Golden Age hang in the imposing Hall of Fame, painters like Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Steen and Johannes Vermeer.
